Mid January Wrestling Tournament Preview

This week in Texas is Dual State weekend, more on that later in the week. We our roughly 2 weeks away of starting the UIL state run with districts looming ahead and everyone is trying to find their weight.  More importantly we lost a Texas great last week in an accident.  Victoria “Vicky” Vasquez of Amarillo Palo Duro High School a 2x state placer and last year’s state runner up, tragically lost her live in an auto accident last Thursday.  Our thoughts and prayers go out to the Vasquez family and all of her wrestling family in Amarillo in this tragic loss, she will be missed.  This is the link to the GoFundMe if you wish to help out the family.
