With all the craziness going on and the yes/no’s of “can we wrestler yet”. It was posted earlier in the month that Texas USA Wrestling has decided to have a Freestyle and Greco Roman National Open Tournament on July 25th and 26th. The event is yet to be determined where its gonna be held.
Spring Klein Wrestling Club will be putting on local tournaments on 6/20, 6/27, 7/11, and 7/18. Now before everyone jumps in their cars and heads for Houston one needs to confirm that it isn’t sold out because they are only allowing a few to participate and to keep in compliance with the governors rules. Go to trackwrestling to register as you may or may NOT be able to at the door.
The Spring Klein Club is in need of volunteers as well as it will require more effort then normal to produce these tournaments. Also the tournaments WILL be limited to spectators and non wrestlers/coaches. Probably not the tournaments to bring the whole family. Maybe by the end of July things will look a lot better and have less restrictions.
