Junior National Texas Boys Dual Recap

Ray Bedford the Texas USA Greco Roman/Freestyle director goes to Tulsa Oklahoma with 36 wrestlers and 3 coaches for the Junior National Duals. Special Thanks to the coaches who take their time out of summer vacation to go help these wrestlers get better. Vinnie Lowe, Bryan Kenney, and Martin Strmiska. Win or lose these coaches help make Team Texas. Apologies to others behind the scenes that help them as well like the parents. Thanks to Farrah Sheeren of Phlox Photography for making the trip and taking photos for Texas USA wrestling, her son gets injured the first match of Greco Roman and doesn’t wrestle the rest of the Duals. Some of the wrestlers got a total of 16 matches the last 4 days while some due to other circumstances only got a few. Overall again win or lose they are all winners with the experience they come away with.

Junior Freestyle National Duals Recap.

37 teams representing 29 states. Texas again had two teams and the starting weight was 195lbs. Its hard to tell exactly what place the Texas teams actually got but it was a good tune up getting ready for Fargo nationals next month as they will see a lot of the same competitors.
