Day one at the Girls Junior National Duals saw Team 1 stomp all 5 of their opponents only giving up 20 points to Illinois the highest total of the day. They started with Kentucky who the beat 62-3, then Pennsylvania 47-15, then Alaska 50-17, Kansas 51-14, then finishing with team Illinois 43-20. Their closest dual of the day. Note the undefeated records going into tomorrows action. Team 1 will be in the Gold bracket competing for the national championship.
Team 2 went 3-2 on the day but it was good enough to get them into the Gold bracket to complete for the national championship. However there 1st dual will be against Team 1 of Texas.
Team 2 defeated Minnesota 48-12, Wisconsin defeated Team 2 41-26, Team 2 defeated Georgia 37-33, defeat Missouri 40-22, and Florida defeated Team 2 43-11. The Florida dual had 2 wrestlers ejected from the tournament. Dont have any information at this time.
Team 1 will have Team Texas 2, Alaska, and Wisconsin .
Team 2 will have Team Texas 1, Wisconsin, and Alaska.
Both are in the same pool in the gold bracket.
