John “LJ” Richardson is Mortgage X-Change Wrestler of the Week. Richardson made the trip to Kansas City a couple weekends ago to compete in the Rocky Mountain Nationals. Richardson placed 2nd in a 64 man Folkstyle bracket and stepped up and won the Freestyle division at 160 lbs in a 128 man bracket to become a double All American! Richardson was also wrestling with Ohana Wrestling Club out of San Antonio for the dual competition and they took 4th in the silver bracket.
Richardson a senior this wrestling season is in his 4th year as a Prosper High School Eagle and is a 3x UIL State Placer placing 2nd in 2018, 6th in 2019, and 4th in 2020.
