Jasmine Robinson is Your 16U Womens National Champion and MOW!

It had been 4 years since Texas has had a National Womens champ at the Cadet/16U level. Not since 2017 when Nia Miranda won a National Championship at Fargo wrestling at 144lbs. It also marks the first time since 16U/Cadets started in 2012 that other then Robinson being the champ, Texas had not went without having an All American. It was also the first time in my memory that a Texas wrestler other then Bo Nickal has won a National Out Standing Wrestler award.

Robinson in her finals match was up against Genesis Gilmore (TN) who was able to last past a full minute against Robinson where the others had not. Robinson got the fall at 1:45 in the match. Robinson was unscored upon the entire tournament.
