CEDAR FALLS, Iowa – UNI Wrestling and head coach Doug Schwab announced the signing of Jack Skudlarczyk to a National Letter-of-Intent to wrestle for UNI starting the 2017-18 season.
Skudlarczyk of Austin Texas, is a two-time state champion for Westlake High School. In 2014, Skudlarczyk won the state championships at 106 pounds in Class 5A and also won the Texas USA Wrestling Freestyle Tournament at 113 pounds.
After moving up a weight in 2015, he took third at the championships in the 113-pounds weight class in Class 6A and returned to win his second freestyle championship at 113 pounds at the Texas USA Wrestling Tournament.
He earned his second state title last year at 120 pounds in Class 6A. Last season, he lost just one match as a junior (44-1).
