113 – Santiago Ramirez has incredible fight!
After a strong first day of dominating his way to the semi finals of the KO Christmas Classic, Kyle
Lew takes his 3rd loss of the season to #6 ranked (FloWrestling) National Champion & 3x
AA Jaydon Robinson, from Illinois. However, Lew battles back to the next best thing and becomes the first Texas wrestler to ever place at this event.
Kyle’s semifinal match started very competitively with a couple of upper body exchanges and pressure by Lew that earned a stall call against Robinson. Robinson chose bottom in the 2nd period and picked up an escape and takedown on Lew. Lew gets up but gives up another takedown to Robinson. Lew goes down in the 3rd and gets an escape, but Robinson continues to score on his feet making the score 11-4. Lew starts his sprint late in the 3rd and picks up another escape then a takedown of his own, but Robinson is able to hold on and get the 11-7 victory and head to the finals….
