The Houston Nationals kicks off today in Bryan Texas and looks to be highly competitive event with 745 boys registered to compete over this weekend.  Over 210 of these wrestlers are high school.
What is setting up to be the showcase of the tournament is the Club Wars that only a couple of years ago started with just a few clubs getting together to dual.  This weekend there is 8 girls dual teams registered, 20 High School dual teams, and 16 youth dual teams for a total of 44 teams dueling it out all on Sunday.  Teams are coming together from all over the state with a couple of teams from Arkansas and Louisiana.

Some of the high Schoo boys club teams like 3F Wrestling Club are coming loaded with 10 ranked wrestlers,  2 State Champions, 2 State Finalists, and 9 State Qualifiers.  Loften Style Club is loaded with a lot of the 5A state champs and qualifiers.
Just about every High School team has a state champ, placer or qualifier in their line up.   9 of the #1 ranked wrestlers  will be competing as well.

They youth teams are loaded as well with Whitted Trained bring 2 teams with 16 wrestlers per team.  North Desota Louisiana is bringing 2 teams as well.  Again like the high school every club team has their champions.

The girls teams are only 8 but they are from K-12 ages.  The sorta local Rise Club has the most in their roster with 20 girls registered followed by NXT Level “who brought 2 teams” has 15 wrestlers along with TX South Region Club.  Arkansas Angels is bring a girls team as well with 16 wrestlers
