Houston Duals: Fulshear, Texas

Another great weekend of wrestling down at Jordan High School. Featuring 16 of the best boys High School teams in the area and 15 of the Best Women’s High School teams in the area. I will apologize ahead of time as this was a very difficult tournament to cover with 8 mats covering 3 gyms and no Trackwrestling to set up notifications with, I am sure I missed some key matchups and a lot of good wrestling. Also, because I couldn’t reference trackwrestling I may be off on my scoring especially the team scores as they were only available if you could catch the scorer before he ran off with the sheets. So, I will try something a little different with this recap. I hope you enjoy and please I would love the feedback good or bad, it’s the only way we will get better.

Men’s Final

Katy Cinco Ranch

CP looks primed for a run at the state team title with having to give up forfeits at heavyweight and 106 they only lost 2 matches all day. Both to highly ranked opponents #2 Ethan Anderson #215, Cy-Fair and #8 Jackson Herman #138, Katy Cinco Ranch. With 9 of the starts ranked and only getting better CP is a tough out in a Dual match format. As they continue to build and fill holes, they will get even stronger. With returning heavyweight Alex Fisher from broken tooth surgery and they fill the 106 threw the weight program. This team gets even stronger. Not a lot of holes to fill just building a stronger wall.
