Farid Mobarak Wins Mid America Nationals

Mid America Nationals

We had 7 teams make the trip north to Enid Oklahoma to participate in the tough Mid America Nationals with Arlington Martin, Bryon Nelson, Houston Westside, Rockwall, Southlake Carroll, Plano West, and Liberty Christian. The tournament was set up with the first day being pool action and the second day going into bracket action.   If you lose before the semifinals in the brackets the best you can do is 5th place.   After the first day Arlington Martin was in 2nd place ahead behind Edmond North and over 3rd place Tuttle Oklahoma.  After the 2nd day of wrestling Martin takes 6th place, Westside takes 15th place, Bryon Nelson takes 19thplace, Southlake takes 22nd place, Rockwall takes 23rd, Plano West takes 26th, and a shorthanded Liberty Christian takes 30th place out of 35 teams.
