Donavan “Donny” Whitted a Junior this season at Arlington Martin High School has verbally committed to Old Dominion University, a Division 1 school located in Virginia. Donny is a 6A-106 Texas State champ, freestyle state champ, and NHSCA Sophomore National Champion. Donny also finished 1st at the Mid-America Nationals in Oklahoma and placed 2nd in both the Bethlehem Holiday Tournament in Pennsylvania and Geary Tournament in Oklahoma. Whitted is currently ranked 10th in the country at his weight and is also considered a top 150 recruit in the class of 2021 both by Flowrestling. Donny projects as a 125lber for Old Dominion University who is preseason ranked 21st in the country for the 2019-2020 season.
