Colin Lawler of Kincaid is a Prep National Champion

Another really tough National Preps tournament held Feb. 23-24 at Lehigh University in Bethlehem, PA. As usual, there were plenty of nationally ranked wrestlers and D-1 signees present. Colin Lawler a D1 signee himself of Kinkaid earns  a National Title at 285, becoming the first Texan to win this tournament since Jack Mueller.

Also earning All-American honors were:
Hunter Balk @160, Trinity Christian (5th)
Noah Chan @160, Kinkaid (8th)
Tucker Ribman @138 St. Mark’s (8th)

Seven other Texans lost the match that would have put them in this group.

In the team battle, the top 3 overall were:
1) Blair Academy
2) Wyoming Seminary
3) Malvern Academy

Top Texas schools were as follows:
1) Kinkaid School
2) Trinity Christian
