Coach Horton takes Bronze

Coach Horton the Freestyle and Greco director for Texas USA Wrestling and Coach of the NB Elite Club traveled to Macedonia for the Veterans Freestyle Championships this past week.

Coach Horton was in an 18 man bracket and had to wrestle a pigtail to get in to the 16 man bracket. He won his first three matches by tech fall, and in the semi finals  drew a former world champion from Russa who he lost to in the finals two years ago. He was leading the match but in a scramble the Russian caught him on his back with his  leg trapped underneath him and got the fall. He then won in the bronze medal match 8-0. =Horton had more matches in the tournament then anyone else by Wrestling five in one day.
