This prestigious wrestling tournament marked the season debut for most of the 41 teams participating, a blend of both 5A and 6A schools, showcasing a diverse range of talent and skill.

Austin Lake Travis emerged as the champions, a remarkable feat considering they competed with only ten wrestlers. Their performance was nothing short of spectacular, with each of their starting ten wrestlers going undefeated on the first day. By the end of the tournament, they boasted seven placers and three champions, an impressive testament to their skill and preparation.
