The CLAW U.S. Open is over in Las Vegas. The senior men freestyle finished up yesterday on Saturday while the U17 & U20 finished up today. Texas in total had 135 wrestling entries with 41 placers and 5 champions.

The U17 and the U20 event had over 100 nationally ranked wrestlers in just freestyle alone making it arguably tougher then Fargo Nationals, regardless these 2 events will be a taste of what we will get in Fargo this year.

Only 4 Texas wrestlers made the podium today. 2 in each event. Jackson Shipley @51kg and Izayiah Chavez @55kg in the U17 and Karson Tompkins @92kg, and Aidan Cooley @97kg in the U20.
