#2 Nationally ranked Samara Chavez of Arlington Martin and #7 Nationally ranked Camille Fournier of Weatherford make the finals for the Cadet freestyle Nationals for Team Texas. Chavez has been a perfect 10-0 in her 3 matches to reach the finals beating Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Nevada. Chavez will face #9 ranked Mia Palumbo in the finals from Illinois.
Fournier is perfect as well having 2 tech falls 10-0, 11-0, followed with a fall in the 3rd match against follow Team Texas member Olivia Mottley to reach the finals where Fournier will face Adriana Dorado Marin of Colorado.
4 ladies will wrestle in the consolation semi finals on Sunday while 2 ladies will wrestle for 7th place making it a total of 8 women Cadet All Americans
Team Texas Cadet Women as of now are in a 4 way tie for 3rd place.
