Hebron’s #1 ranked Jerhett Lee 2x 6A State Champ and #2 ranked Jacolby McCray have both signed to wrestle at Ouachita Baptist University in Arkansas. Jerhett came from Odessa Tx where there is no wrestling so Jerhett was introduced his freshman year; this was a new thing for him and in his 4 years he qualified for UIL State 3 times his sophmore year he placed 4th, and the next 2 season 2014/2015 and 2015/2016 he was the 6A UIL State Champion all 3 years at the 285lb weight class. . A great accomplishment for a 4yr wrestler.
#2 Jacolby McCray who didn’t qualify the year before not only qualified for State this year, but wrestled all the way to 2nd place, great job and congrats to both boys and to the Hebron Wrestling
