This is the calm before the storm week as most varsity teams are idle until districts that start next week. 

Last week we came away with Dual State Champions, Arlington Martin winning the 6A over Rockwall 48-20, Melissa winning the 5A over Comal Smithson Valley 46-21, and Dumas winning the 4A over Canyon Randall 55-22.

The Texas High School Coaches Association who put the Dual State Event on showcased the 4A class duals for the first time in hopes of the UIL seeing a need to add another class to Texas which gives more wrestlers an opportunity to wrestle. 

Top ranked Allen goes to Oklahoma for a tri-dual against Tuttle and Broken Arrow High Schools before going idle until districts…
