Brian Andrews is Mortgage X-Change Wrestler of the Week. Andrews of Grapevine Texas wrestling for Wyoming University is your Big 12 Champion. Andrews was the 5th seed going into the tournament and went 4-0 in winning his 1st Big 12 Championship and possibly the 1st Texas wrestler to win a Big 12 Championship.
Andrews 1st seeded match and in the quarter finals was #4 Carter Isley of Northern Iowa whom he beat SV-1 3-1. Next in the semi finals Andrews faced the #1 seed Tate Orndorff of Utah Valley who he edged out TB-2 7-3. In the finals Andrew beat the #2 seed wrestler Gannon Gremmel of Iowa State by a 3-2 decision.
