Coach Troy Jewell all FS/GR season long has be giving awards for the Team Texas Wrestlers after each event. Below is the awards for Fargo Nationals.
Our team outstanding wrestlers were ;
Cadet freestyle – Chase Warden
Cadet Greco – Parker Decker
JR freestyle – Daniel Manibog
JR Greco – Aiden Connor
Tournament Iron Man – we have a split between cadets, Branson Britten and Chase Warden
Words from Coach Jewell:
We expected the results we got from Chase, the three-time Fargo all American is just at that level now.
However, first year cadet Branson Britten worked his tail off all week in both the freestyle, then Greco where he was pretty much learning that style as we went. We literally coached him up before and after each Match and he definitely got better at it. We don’t see too many first year cadets that double AA
