The Boneyard Wrestling Club out of the Houston area made the journey to the Deep South Winter Duals and National tournament in Birmingham Alabama 12/28-29th. Several other club members joined the Boneyard team in the open tournament that was youth through high school. Texas came away from the national tournament with 8 champs, 3 runner ups, and 2 wrestlers took 3rd.
In the High School Dual’s Boneyard Wrestling Club brings home the 1st place trophy. They wrestled 7 rounds against 6 other teams and went 6-1 to secure the overall win. AJ Marino, Jakob Smith, Darwin Hull, Jonathan Wertz, and Eli Sheeren all went undefeated in the duals and in the National Tournament except Marino who only competed in the Duals.
