Bo knows Texas

Last week we sent out an update that contained an update on our efforts to secure Division One wrestling in Texas.  Our hope is that interested parties will donate to the cause by the options listed at the bottom of the page.  If every wrestler who has ever wrestled in Texas or whose families were spectators and fell in love with the sport will donate $25, $50, or even a $100, we can fund the foundation for the next five years and pursue our second, third and maybe even fourth College Wrestling Team in Texas.

What Texas wrestling means to Bo Nickal

I wanted to take the time to talk about why our foundation is so committed to making this happen.  We are doing this for our kids in Texas: our High School , Middle School and Club wrestlers.  Wrestling develops athletes who are fit and tough.  Wrestling builds character and creates athletes who love a challenge and are brimming with self confidence.  We are dedicated to  providing these athletes with college scholarship opportunities.  At the end of the day, that is why we are so committed.

As a nation, we are fighting for wrestling’s status and survival.  All eyes are on Texas!

We are moving ahead with Tarleton State.  That is our start.  Tarleton has the vision, and is committed to building a winning wrestling program.  We want to reward them for their vision.  They will be our first, and once they get started, other schools will follow.

We are making progress daily, but we need your support!

There are two ways to donate.

The first is by mailing a check to:

The Texas Collegiate Wrestling Foundation

OR, you can click on the link for Donorbox.  We appreciate any donation no matter the size.  As Dan Gable says “Let’s go Texas”.
