Avery Beckman is Mortgage X-Change Wrestler of the Week. Ā Beckman only an 8th grader from the Houston area came away with multiple accomplishments competing at the Freakshow Tournament in Las Vegas this past weekend.
Beckman first competed in the Girls Grade 6-8 in the HWT division and went 3-0 with 3 falls to claim her championship and Most Outstanding Wrestler Award.
Beckman then competed in the Girls Grade 9-12 and made the finals @ 145 including defeating the #1 seed where she lost a close 8-6 decision. Ā Going 4-1 with 3 pins and an injury forfeit. to take a 2nd place finish.
To top it all off it was Beckman’s 14th Birthday Weekend.
