This last weekend the Amarillo High School who I have ranked 4th in the 6A teams and Amarillo JV went to Weatherford Oklahoma to compete in the Max Dippel Memorial Tournament where Amarillo High came away with the 2nd place team trophy behind Clinton Ok, with 262.50 points, Amarillo JV gathered 70pts for a 9th place finish, 182 pounder Austin Brandt picked up the MOW award to go along with his 1st place finish, and 5 Champions in all.
