Allen Outlaw Tournament-Preview

The CFISD is no doubt the largest tournament in Texas, but the Allen Outlaw Tournament is arguably the toughest tournament in Texas with some of the weight classes having as many as 3 state champions from Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, and Arkansas.  This tournament will start Friday and go through Saturday.

Tournament has a total of 18 state champs and 33 state placers and over 30 state qualifiers coming from the 34 teams making the trip.

The tournament is a 2 day tournament with Pools the first day and the winner of the pools get bracketed the 2nd day, so depending on your pool a wrestler could get as many as 8 matches in the 2 day event.

Just some notable weights to follow are at 138 where James McClain Green is making his return and could face up against Luke Sloan an AA and state runner up or Cade Manion of Deer Creek Oklahoma a 2x state champ.  At 170 we could see the battle of the Texas state champs Elise Brown Ton of Allen and Kishawn Higgins of Katy.

Wrestlingtexas will have photographers covering the action.  Click here for your team or individual spotlight.
