Alex Liles places 2nd @ Bill Farrell Memorial International Open

Alex Liles of Best Trained traveled to New York City to compete in the Bill Farrell Memorial International Open tournament.   At only 17 years old Liles was competing in the 62kg division where every wrestler is normally a college wrestler or older. Liles tech falled her first 2 opponents which where US college wrestlers to reach the finals where she ran into the Brazilian 2016 Olympian.  Las Nunues de Oliveria of Brazil not only beat Liles, she gave Liles her first lost ever by fall in her whole wrestling career.  Liles had to settle for the Silver Medal.  This will be a great learning experience for Liles who is inspiring to be a 2020 Olympian herself.
