Allens AJ Ferrari makes the latest ranking updates for InterMat Wrestling as the #1 ranked Sophomore in the Nation . Ferrari is the lone Texan to make the list of Freshman, Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors. A number 1 ranking hasn’t happened for a Texas Wrestler through InterMat since Allens Bo Nickal who has went on to become the #1 D1 college ranked wrestler @ 184..
Ferrari also makes the #4 spot at the 182 weight class as the only sophomore in a list of seniors and 2 juniors. Braedan Redlin of Allen makes the 170 weight at #16, and Colin Lawler of Kincaid makes the #13 spot at 220 but don’t make the top 100 senior board. ???? go figure ..InterMat has always favored the Northeast area wrestlers so its nice to see a Texas wrestler make the scene.
