AJ Ferrari wins by decision over Nijenhuis of Team Pennsylvania 8-3 to advance to the Championship Cadet National Finals. This make the 9th year in a row that Texas has had a finalist in the Freestyle/Greco National Championships in Fargo. Ferrari will face Abe Assad of Team Illinois in the finals. Assad is unranked but was considered a contender for the title in most National Medias. Finals will be Monday starting at 1.30pm.
Dominic Chavez Jr will be wrestling for 5th place tomorrow as well against Paxton Creese of Team Minnesota at the 100lb weight class. Carlos Sanchez will be wrestling for 7th place against Colby Whitehill of Team Pennsylvania.
Finals and Medals matches will start at 1.30pm tomorrow.
