Adelyhda Perez of Uvalde is Wrestlingtexas Wrestler of the Week. Perez was the only female 3 time state champion this season and is only the 5th woman wrestler ever since the UIL started in 1999 to win 3 state championships. Perez is also a 4 time state finalist and a 1-0 losing decision is the only thing keeping Perez from being a 4 time state champion.
