At the end of a short day only 7 junior girls made their exit in day 1 out of the 55 girls wrestling. 26 junior girls are still on the championship side. Some of those haven’t wrestled yet due to byes. The larger brackets went 2 rounds of championship, while the smaller brackets did just one round.
Texas junior girls are still in top 5 with wrestlers left in the tournament.
The 16U girls out of 31 competing had 7 not make day 2. While 11 are still on the championship side. Weights 95 though 130 went to the round of 16, above 130 went only to round of 32.
