Texas Wrestlers will be taking Omaha Nebraska by storm this weekend as the Junior National and U23 Championships take place. Ā 87 wrestlers in total have registered by the November 10th deadline. Ā A lot of familiar names making the trip in attempts to make it to the next level. Ā Jack Mueller is the big name for the U23 men and should be seeded once the brackets come out. Ā The U23 women have 18 registered with 9 women at the 50kg weight with a mixture of high school Ā women looking to step up to the pre senior division. Ā The Junior mens freestyle is loaded with college men with only a couple of high school guys mixed in. Ā The junior women have 5 returning high school state champs in the mix with at least 6 multi state champs in the college level.
The Greco Roman division has a nice list of wrestlers as well. Ā Wrestling will start Friday at 9am with the U23 Greco-Roman, UWW Junior Greco-Roman and UWW Junior Women. Ā All matches will live on Flo Wrestling.
