Since USA Wrestling has been doing the Cadet Women’s Freestyle Nationals this is the largest year for womens cadet entries. Texas with 27 cadet entries came away with 8 All Americans which is one less then last year where they had 9.
Samara Chavez settles for 2 place as Mia Palumbo of Illinois gets past her in the 106 finals. Camille Fournier will also settles for 2nd as Adriana Marin of Colorado takes the Championship in the 117 finals. Also Olivia Mottley took a 4th place finish @ 117. Maddie Sandquist @ 127 takes an 8th place finish. Jordon Suarez breaks the losing streak and takes a 3rd place finish at 138 over Jade Herzer of Wisconsin. Joylynn Wegman at 152 takes an 8th place finish. Brittyn Corbishley @ 180 with a fall, follows Suarez and takes a 3rd place finish and @ 200 Emma Lozado take a 6th place finish.
Congrats to all the Team Texas Cadets, The junior division will start tomorrow and look for all the cadet women to enter into the junior division to get more matches. IRON SHARPENS IRON.
