6A Boys: The Top 5 ranked explained.

With the rankings heating up and going into the 5th weekend of the season and with football almost over. We go through the top 5 rankings per weight for the 6A boys. There was a lot of shaking up as wrestlers jockey for their weight classes. Freshman wrestlers make the climb into the top 5. #1’s getting beat, unranked wrestlers making a name for themselves.

Arlington Martin still has the most in the top 5, but College Park is right there. 13x state champs Allen will have some new faces this season and should make the top 5 in the team race by January.

Dual State could be one to see if Arlington Martin and Allen meet, they both have it on their schedules. Meanwhile after week 4 going into week #5 below we go through the top 5 ranked wrestlers below.

Stone Perlunger makes waves here, being unranked at the first of the season he has quickly climbed to the #1 spot with his performance at the Rumble of the Rock Tournament beating the then #3 ranked wrestler Santiago Ramirez of Houston Westside. Titus Howell of Keller Timber Creek comes in at #3. Howell took 2nd place last weekend at the Blanchard Oklahoma tournament. #4 is a freshman for McKinney Boyd, Zachary Siatka who took a break for a couple years in the youth but before doing so was always a top placer at places like Tulsa Nationals, Siatka comes in and wins his first tournament at Heath last month to spring board him up. #5 is Jose Hernandez of Rockwall whom Siatka beat to leap up.
