The Decker Brothers, Preston and Parker from Keller HS and Jordan Strmiska (Lake Travis HS) with Noah Gochberg (Vandergrift HS) made their way to the 2017 Grappler Fall Classic in Battlefield Michigan. All four wrestlers were in the Elite High School Division
Parker Decker at 105lb made his way to the Semi Finals where he loses in medical default with a concussion, Decker defaulted out to 6th place.
Noah Gochberg had a tougher time going 1-2 at 112lb.
Jordan Strmiska at 119lb won 2 matches into the quarter finals where he dropped a major 10-2 to the eventual runner up. Strmiska won his next match over Derek Fields of Ohio who was Preston Parkers first loss 8-4 which put him into the medal rounds where he has to settle for 8th place.
Preston Decker also was at 119lb, but on the bottom side of the bracket from Strmiska, Decker drops his first match and wins his next 3 matches on the consolation side on a collision course towards Strmiska where Joshua Ogunsanya of Illinois beats Decker 6-2, to keep Decker away from medal rounds where he would of faced Strmiska.
