Adelyhda Perez of Uvalde. Perez was a 4x state finalist only losing by 1-0 
decision @ 148 in 2017 to keep her from being a 4x state champ to Za’ Maia of College Station A&M Consolidated. Perez finishes her High School Folkstyle career with an impressive record of 140-5.
Perez is also only the 5th ever women wrestler to have 3 state championships since the UIL era starting in 1999. Perez joins Lindsey Brooks of Klein 2005-2007. Daniel Manibog of Katy. is a 4x state placer and 3 time state champion.
Manibog’s freshman year he placed 5th at state. Manibog is the 17th wrestler to achieve a 3x champ status. Manibog finishes his Folkstyle high school career with an impressive 218-12 record with 10 of those loses coming his freshman year. Manibog will continue his wrestling career with Oklahoma State.
