27 New Teams for the 2022/2023 season.

The 2022/2023 UIL folkstyle season is upon us and there was lots of changes in the district and region alignment for 5A and 6A with a total of 27 new wrestling teams added this season between the 2 classes with 24 of them entering the 5A class and 3 entering the 6A class.  Only 8 teams dropped out all together all from the 5A class.

13 teams moved from 5A to 6A while 12 teams moved from 6A to 5A keeping that pretty much even. 

34 teams realigned in the 6A class mostly all in region 4 while only 6 teams realigned in 5A class.
