The USA TODAY High School Sports Awards are slated to celebrate the top student-athletes in the Dallas area.

On June 18, 2020, at 6 p.m., USA TODAY will fete high school standouts with a star-studded online show available free of charge to all viewers. The show will also be available on demand after the initial live event.

Here are the 10 nominees for Dallas Girls Wrestler of the Year.

Class: 2020

Weight: 102 pounds

Noteworthy: She finished in third in the state for Class 6A when she pinned Zhivanna Magdaleno of League City Clear Springs.

Class: 2020

Weight: 110 pounds

Noteworthy: Allred, who set the school record with 177 career wins, is a four-time UIL state qualifier and finished second in the state at 110 pounds.

School: Byron Nelson (Trophy Club)

Class: 2020

Weight: 138 pounds

Noteworthy: After winning her first 65 matches, Basham was upset on a last-second takedown in the state semifinal. She finished in third place.

School: Martin High (Arlington)

Class: 2021

Weight: 110 pounds

Noteworthy: Chavez was a runner-up as a freshman but bounced back with a state title at 102 as a sophomore. She ended her junior campaign with another state title when she won a 7-2 decision.

Weight: 119 pounds

Noteworthy: Fournier went unbeaten (41-0) and picked up her third straight 6A championship at 119 pounds.

Weight: 119 pounds

Noteworthy: Harper gave Gianna Moreno of San Marcos High her first loss of the season to earn third place in the 6A 119-pound division with a pinfall.

Class: 2021

Weight: 148 pounds

Noteworthy: Hernandez handed Cypress Ranch High’s Nia Miranda, who was 47-1 and turning heads on the national scene, a 3-1 defeat in the Class 6A final.

Weight: 165 pounds

Noteworthy: Miles was crowned once again when she closed out her Class 5A dominance with a fall victory over Princess Egbuchunam from Liberty High.

Noteworthy: Patton pounced on her opponents and won her state title when Illyauna Martinez of Katy Mayde Creek fell.
