2019 USA Girls Preseason National Duals WC Results

The Texans WC had a successful trip to Indiana this past weekend where they competed in the Girls Preseason Nationals.

 

The Texans WC Blue went 2-3 on the day.

Katelynn Dockery (60) went 5-0 on the day with 4 falls and a major decision! She was the voted the Blue team OW.

Natalie Taylor (55) went 4-1, & Camila Alvares (117) 4-1.

 

Round 1 Lady Pittbulls defeated Texans WC Blue 66-31

Round 2 Texans WC Blue defeated Georgia Blue 84-12

Round 3 Texans WC Blue defeated Illinois Blue 75-15

Round 4 Indiana Ignites Red defeated Texans WC Blue 54-45

Round 5 Harvey’s Hammers defeated Texans WC Blue 57-46.

 

The Texans WC Red went 4-2 on the day.  Zurri Zamora (83) went 5-1. Livia Rosario (117) and Dorian Villalba (133) had some great physical matches, nationally ranked opponents, and some come from behind wins.

Round 1 Harvey’s Hammers defeated Texans WC Red 50-40

Round 2 Texans WC Red defeated Kentucky 70-31

Round 3 Texans WC Red BYE

Round 4 Midwest Black Mambas defeated Texans WC Red 75-15

Round 5 Texans WC Red defeated Black Widows 65-27

Round 6 Texans WC Red defeated Lady Pittbulls Turquoise 54-37

Round 7 Texans WC Red defeated Ohio National Team Red 69-37.

I was really proud of all the girls! The girls all wrestled hard and saw some top notch competition. They all wrestled really well and learned along the way. This was a great way to start the season.
