Conway, Ark.-The University of the Ozarks wrestling team posted a dominating 38-7 win over Central Baptist College Tuesday night. At 125-pounds, Devon Jackson recorded a Tech Fall at 5:52. At 141, Jaylen York won by a decision  (13-7). At 165, Tracey Eitelgarnered a win (MD 12-2). At 174, Jacob Sherrill posted a win (TF 15-1 5:07). At 285, Adolfo Sotolongo recorded a win (Dec 10-5).
“I thought the team fought well as a whole. We saw a lot of individuals open up and display the fruits of their labor. I’m happy with the way I wrestled, I had fun and tried to flow through positions where I’m normally not comfortable. It was a great win and I’m proud of my team.”

“The guys battled and looked to take advantage of opportunities. We’re looking for improvements on bottom, scoring on top and finishing our takedowns. We did that as a team. We had good leadership from our upper classnen, and it’s always good to get a victory. We will keep working, keep believing in our efforts and continue being the best we can at improving from week to week.”

The Eagles will travel to Miami, Oklahoma, for the Northeastern Oklahoma Norsemen Open.
