Former Keller Timber Creek Captain makes it on The Voice
Merely weeks after being featured at the UIL State Tournament – singing the National Anthem after the parade of champions – 2017 Timber Creek graduate Jeremiah Miller found himself on the biggest stage of his life. In Tuesday’s final blind audition episode, with only a few slots remaining, both Adam Levin and Jennifer Hudson turned their chairs, vying to be Jeremiah’s coach. Despite the obvious appeal of superstar Levin – Hudson played the “people of faith” card to sway Christian rock singer Jeremiah unto her team! Congrats to Jeremiah!
As a senior at Timber Creek, Jeremiah compiled a 30-10 record, finishing second in the district 4-6A championships. He was 2-2 in the Region 1 championships facing elimination in the consolation quarterfinals. NBC will air Jeremiah’s latest one-on-one competition in the “Battle Rounds” airing next week.
Although all filming has been completed through the next two rounds of competition – the Miller family is sworn to secrecy – we will have to tune in and see how he does in the Battle Rounds.
Jeremiah has created a fan facebook page for those wanting to follow his journey and singing career.
