Fall Brawl and Super 32 Texas placers

Staley High School, Kansas City, MO was the showdown for the Blue Chip Fall Brawl.

The Fall Brawl is one of midwest’s premier pre-season tournaments. Wrestlers from around the nation travel to see where they stack up before the season begins.

Taylor Parks (145) of Arlington Bowie takes a 4-2 decision to take 3rd place.

A few Plano Senior high wrestlers made the trip as well.

Super 32 results

The Super 32 held in Greensboro Coliseum special events Greensboro North Carolina is one of the toughest folkstyle tournaments in the country,  some of the brackets had over 130 wrestlers competing.

Landon Collins at 8 and under won him a championship making him the only Texas wrestler to do so. he was at the 60lb weight class.

No placers at the 11 and under.

Middle School

Braxton Brown (Besttrained) lost a 4-0 semi final to Oklahoma and came back to finish 3rd in the 85lb weight class,
Noah Gochberg took a 6th place finish at the 100lb weight class in a 64 man bracket, got to the quarter finals than fought back though the cons.

High School

Jordan Robison (152), (Frisco Liberty) and Colin Lawler (220) (Kincaid)got to within one match of placing at the Super 32 in loaded brackets.  Nathan Rankin, Nico Manzonelli, Logan Brown, along with a few other Texas Boys had a good showing but came up short. No high school placers for Texas.
