2016 USAW Girls Folkstyle Nationals Texas results

Alex Liles 2x Texas 6A State Champ of Allen/Besttrained doubles up and wins the Cadet and the Junior Folkstyle National Championships in Oklahoma City this weekend, she defeated Jerzie Estrada of Colorado in the finals of the Cadet Championship and in the Semi Finals of the Junior division to advance to the finals where she defeated Allicyn Schuster of Nebraska 9-3. this was at the 131/132lb weight class.

Logan Mize 5A state Champ @ 119lb of Frisco Liberty at 125lb made the finals and took 2nd losing to Gabrielle Garcia of California, Iam sure there will be a re match At the Body Bar or Fargo

Brianna Holcomb 5A State Champ @138lb of El Paso Hanks loses a close one to Emma Bruntil of Washington 4-1 and takes 2nd place.
