With day 1 of Fargo in the books Texas had 23 16U wrestlers competing and only 4 made it thur to the 2nd day. Aydan Thomas at 88lb is in the quarter finals, Thomas has made quick work of his matches. Jeremy Manibog at 138lb after losing his first match has came back winning 7 matches to reach day 2 with 2 match left to win to All American. Karson Tompkins at 182lb made the round of 16 before dropping a close match 14-12. Tompkins then came back in the consolation side and made quick work of Alabama 11-0 to make day 2 and like Manibog will need to more wins to All American. The big guy Jayce Chew at 285lb lost his first match and has come back and like Manibog and Tompkins need 2 more matches won to reach his All-American status.
